A Happily Married Man and a Father of 3 Has Been Dressing in High Heels and Skirts for 4 Years

What is your first thought when you see a man in a skirt and high heels? It surely isn’t that he’s a happily married man and a father with three children. Well, Mark Bryan is here to prove you wrong. He’s 61 and works as a robotic engineer in the US and he likes to wear skirts and high heels to work. He’s not your typical businessman but it seems that nobody minds his dressing style. He believes that there shouldn’t be clothing items just for men or just for women and that people of all genders should feel free to wear whatever they like.

His style is certainly unique in a way because it’s as if he’s two different halves of the same man. His upper body part is dressed like a typical businessman, with a tie, a shirt and a jacket, but his lower part tells a different story. He started posting pictures of his attire about 4 years ago on Instagram and he still does it every day.

As it’s the case with everything on the Internet, Mark’s dressing style has received mixed reviews. There are those who support him and believe he has the right to dress the way he pleases, and there are those who are more negative about the whole ordeal. But Mark says that he doesn’t even pay attention to the bad comments because he’s made the decision a long time ago and nothing is going to change his mind.

The Journey Started Back in College

This cross-dressing journey started back in college when his girlfriend at the time asked him to put on a skirt and heels and dance with her. It was then and there that Mark realized clothes don’t have a gender. He also adds that it’s mostly men who have a problem with the way he dresses and people ask him about his sexual preferences all the time.

Mark strongly believes that no one should make fun of how another person chooses to express himself, how he chooses to dress or look. It’s nobody’s business but their own. We all have different styles and opinions, so why isn’t it allowed for men to wear skirts or heels if they feel like it? Who says that skirts and dresses are just for women? We made this rule and we’re the ones who should be able to change it if we feel like it.

Mark has been married 3 times since he started wearing skirts and heels. For him, the third time seems to be the charm as he’s finally found a supportive partner who understands him completely. His children understand him as well but it was difficult at first. He sat down with them and explained them why he does what he does and they’ve accepted him completely. The man admitted that he was most scared about how his coworkers will accept him. He started by wearing heels and pants first, and then moved on to skirts and heels. But he was pleasantly surprised when no one reacted in any particular way. It seems that people don’t really care what he wore, as long as he did the job he was hired to do.
