Each of us wonders what is the secret of longevity? What is the recipe for a long and happy life? What do you need to do to have it?
Esmond Allcock reveals his secret to longevity. Esmond is 108 years old and comes from Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, Canada. According to Esmond, the secret of a long life is to choose the right wife. Yes yes, that’s it. As incredible as it sounds, this statement was made by Esmond after 108 years of his life. So is there anything more credible than that? Esmond and his wife have been married for 72 years. They had large offspring of 6 children, 17 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Esmond was a farmer. Allcock was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 26 January 1910. Esmond describes life with his wife as happy and fulfilling. He reveals that the secret to a long life lies in choosing the right wife with whom to spend happy moments.
Esmond had many descendants, but he was especially happy to have his great-grandson named after him at the age of 71. He got his great-grandson from his great-granddaughter Jenna Lene. This was extremely important to Esmond, and holding his great-grandson in his arms he repeated how much it meant to him that his great-grandson bore his name.
After the death of his wife, Esmond moved to Kerrobert Health Center. There he spent the last few years of his life in which he spent interesting and fun moments. A party for his 108th birthday was held at Kerrobert Health Center. His favorite steak, carrot and fruit dishes were prepared. Esmond spent the last years of his life at the Kerrobert Health Center but was really happy there. Esmond died in 2018 at the age of 108.
Learned from Esmond’s story, it is important to remember 2 things. One is that in order to have a long and happy life, it is important to choose the right partner, because we will spend our whole life in a community and we need to have understanding, harmony and happiness. The second thing is that we should strive to fill life with positive, happy moments despite all the negatives and bad ones we will encounter. The fact is that life does not come to any of us with instructions and instructions on how we should live it, nor are the methods of how we should live lived correctly checked and determined somewhere. But these “spices” are sure to prolong your life. It is important to value your life, to realize that there is only one and that there is no repetition of it, that one should live in the best possible way and use every possible moment while we exist in this earthly world.
“ Life is not measured by how many days you live, but by how much life you put into each surviving day! In the end, it will not matter how many times you sigh deeply, but how many moments you take your breath away! “
