Use Garlic to Treat Ear Infections, Coughs, and Pneumonia Naturally!

Pneumonia was very hard to be treated before 1928 when penicillin was discovered by Alexander Fleming. He made a discovery that the Staphylococcus microorganism in his Petri dish was discovered by the “mildew” growing there.

Still, we shouldn’t use too many antibiotics as the bacteria might become resistant to them. Luckily, we have a natural option in the form of fruits and vegetables. One of the most efficient vegetables for our health is garlic.

People have been using garlic since ancient times. We mostly use it in the kitchen. It’s full of strong antiviral and antibacterial properties. Garlic can also be found in many different forms like for example as a part of an ointment called GOOT (garlic oil ointment) which is used to treat viral, parasitic and bacterial infections successfully.

It contains an active compound called allicin which is full of restorative properties. Allicin is activated when you crush or chop the garlic. Pressed or minced garlic from which you can obtain some paste will offer you allicin in its purest form. Even though its taste and smell are really strong, it has a number of benefits for our health.

Experts throughout the world recommend the use of garlic oil, too. It offers you the best antioxidant, antifungal, antiviral and antimicrobial effects that allicin can give.

You can use It against different types of cough, cold, pneumonia, ear infections, etc. Here’s how to prepare it at home:

You Need:

  • 2 Tbsp of Olive oil
  • 5 Fresh, Peeled Garlic Cloves
  • 3 Tbsp of Coconut oil

Instructions:

First, you need to melt down the coconut oil so that it can melt. Add the olive oil with the garlic cloves inside. Let it cool down for half an hour. Strain the garlic afterwards and collect the ointment in a jar. You’ll notice that in about 1 hour, it won’t be any oil, but the mixture will become like paste. Cold-pressed coconut oil gives us an abundance of lauric acid that is full of antiviral and antibacterial properties.

Use this amazing oil for:

  • Infections (apply it on your feet)
  • Acne (combine a mud pack with 2 or 3 drops of this oil. Apply the paste on your face and let it stay for 10 minutes. Use plenty of cold water to eliminate it.)
  • Sores (apply it on your mouth)
  • To treat coughs, colds, and pneumonia (use the oil on your chest; you can also treat an ear infection by putting 2 or 3 drops in your ear)
  • Toothache (apply 2 or 3 drops of this ear on a cotton ball and let it stay on your tooth for 15 minutes)
  • Sinus infections (just put 2 or 3 drops of the oil in your nostrils)
  • Hair loss (use the garlic ointment to massage your scalp).
