Cleaning a toilet is a rather unpleasant feeling. But, giving the fact that a clean toilet equals a celan household and a clean family, it is a must on your „to do“ list in the house. Well, here we have a solution which will help you clean your toilet in an easier way, and thus also making it fresh and bacteria-free.
You will need the following ingredients – 60 ml lemon juice, half a tablespoon of vinegar, 160 gr baking soda, a tablespoon of 3% Hydrogen Peroxide, and around 20 drops of fragrant oil. Take the baking soda and put it in a bowl, and then mix it with the lemon juice. In another bowl, mix the vinegar and the hydrogen peroxide. Afterwards, just add it to the baking soda, but slowly, drop by drop and mix it all together. Add fragrant oil of your choice. Then, create small half balls by using a spoon from the mixture and leave them to dry on a piece of paper. To form a hard crust on the half balls, mix together equal parts of water and vinegar to the mixture.
These balls need about 4 hours to be completely dry, but it is best to keep them over the night. After they have dried out, it is best to keep them in an air tight glass jar and very close to the toilet. As soon as you feel that the freshness is leaving your toilet, just insert one of these tabs in it.
We are fully aware that it might take some of your time to prepare these tabs, but take into consideration that all of the ingredients for it are quite common and unexpensive. Also, do not forget that these tabs will be much more efficient and environmentally safer.
