Lack of Vitamins

Vitamins are group of organic compounds which are prevalent in the flora and fauna and in the microorganisms. This compounds are represented in the food in a small amounts. They are indispensable for growth and maintenance for our organism. Although the vitamins are in a small amounts, they have very important role for the metabolism and affect the physiological state of the organism.

Besides that, some vitamins are not synthesizing in the human body at all. Others are synthesizing in the intestinal flora and tissues but in insufficient quantities and because of that, we must supply our body with vitamins over food.

Cracks on the lips

If you want to protect your lips you have to be careful with: lack of unsaturated fatty acids, bad weather conditions, dry and warm air in the rooms in which you stay, allergic reactions from cosmetics and stress. Other reasons can be lack of B-vitamins, iron etc. This problem occurs mostly vegetarians.

Solution: avoid moistening the lips with your tongue, keep the air moist, put protective balm on your lips, do piling at least twice a week. Other solution is consuming vegetables with iron, Vitamin C (eggs, salmon, poultry meat, etc.). Non- vegetarian option is more chicken, tuna, salmon, eggs, shellfish, and more vegetarians dried tomatoes, dark leafy plants, legumes, tahini, peanut.

Red rash on the face (sometimes elsewhere) and hair loss

Usually this is generated due to long exposure to the sun coupled with poor genetic predisposition. It is thought that the lack of sunlight during winter and consequently reduced synthesis of vitamin D, which has been shown in recent studies to be very important for hair, is the reason for the spring hair loss. You have also lack of vitamin B7.

 

Solution: Prefer to eat cooked eggs, cauliflower, walnuts, food with B Vitamins. For more biotin eat avocado, mushrooms, salmon, cauliflower, soybeans, bananas and raspberries. To solve the problem with your face prefer placing protective cream.

 

Red or white skin changes similar to acne, usually on the face, arms, thighs
and backs

 

You are missing Vitamin C and A which are responsible for the skin and fatty acids.

Solution: avoid food full with fat like mayo, margarine. You should prefer food with healthy fats like salmon, seeds, vegetable with Vitamin A and C. It is also preferred standing on the sun a few minutes for Vitamin D.

 

Numbness and tingling on your hands, feet or anywhere on your body

Feelings of numbness, temporary loss of feeling in hands and feet is the most common sign of a deficiency of folic acid or vitamin B9, and vitamins B6 and B12. This symptom is directly connected to nerve endings in the skin, and often these sensations can be associated with depression, anemia and anxiety.

Solution: It is recommended eating more spinach, dairy and beet.

Muscle cramps, severe pain in the fingers, wrists, feet, legs and back.

You are missing magnesium, calcium, potassium. Symptoms such as flickering eyelids and muscle cramps, are resolved by taking more vitamins that you are lacking. If you exercise, it can result to loss of these minerals because you sweat too much.

Solution: eat more bananas, tomatoes, almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin, cherries, apples, citrus, broccoli and dark leafy greens like kale and spinach.
