Norway is the First Country which Said “ STOP ” to Deforestation

All the climate change that is happening directly affects us all. Climate change is showing its downside more and more intensely. Extremely high temperatures, melting Greenland ice, extreme weather conditions such as hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico are a direct consequence of global warming and the enormous greenhouse gas emissions. To make the catastrophe even more pronounced contributed the fires that broke out in Siberia and especially in the Amazon (the lungs of the planet).

Despite all these climate changes that we can not directly influence, we ourselves contribute to greater disasters with our irresponsibility to forests, our natural wealth. Today there is no environment on earth, no forest in which a man entered with the intention of cutting down trees. The Amazon rainforest lasted the longest, leaving us with the last hope of being able to store the necessary oxygen reserves in the atmosphere. Also that we will prevent the possible consequences of their disappearance.

Unfortunately, loggers have already penetrated deep into the Amazon rainforest, using the most advanced technique to use the wood mass, but also to destroy entire ecosystems. In the United States in the last two centuries the greatest exploitation of wildlife has been recorded, ie deforestation. In that vast country from the time of Columbus, only a few forests remain in the forest area. Thailand has also seen a loss of forests in the last decade, as has the Philippines. Large areas in the Himalayan hills have a similar appearance to the moon, which has contributed to the destruction of forest areas. It is similar in the Middle East, the Mediterranean and many other parts of our planet. Famous jungles in South Asia are destroying radars and it is becoming more intense.
Norway has become the first country in the world to completely ban logging and thus contribute to reducing global deforestation.

The Norwegian Parliament has committed itself to finding a way to supply the necessary products such as palm oil, soybeans, beef and timber for construction, which will have minimal impact on their ecosystem. This is a pledge that Norway made at the 2014 UN climate summit, along with Germany and the United Kingdom.

This country has already shown its commitment to a cleaner environment in another way. In 2008, the country gave Brazil $ 1 billion to help fight logging in the Amazon rainforest – reducing logging by 75% in seven years. The country is also implementing a process to limit the sale of gas-powered cars until 2025.

It is predicted that, with the pace at which we are moving, all the rainforests in the world will disappear in 100 years.

According to all these data and analyzes, we realize that there is still insufficient writing and talk about the growing degradation of forests on the entire planet, which can lead to a general world catastrophe. Considering the huge role that forest ecosystems have in the biosphere of our planet, the roles of all major associations and organizations, and especially the UN, are especially important for solving this global problem. This problem is a big problem and needs to be addressed globally. Raise awareness to prevent deforestation and take action before it is too late.
